The obverse of the 1/2 oz Incuse Indian Silver Round displays a left-profile relief of a Native American leader wearing a full headdress, along with 13 stars and the word LIBERTY. At the bottom center the SilverTowne picaxe insignia/mintmark can be found indicating that the SilverTowne Mint is the producer of this medallion. The design is incuse, indicating that it is struck into the coin’s surface rather than raised on it.

The reverse of the SilverTowne Incuse Indian Silver Round presents the image of the American bald eagle. The eagle is seated on a bundle of arrows wrapped in an olive branch, and the phrase “E Pluribus Unum” is on this side, along with “In God We Trust,” which was absent from the Indian Head Gold Eagle. "1/2 TROY OUNCE" is circled along the top of the design and ".999 FINE SILVER" at the bottom.
